Tough time recruiting top talent? Try searching outside of the  healthcare industry!

Many practices tell me they have a difficult time recruiting great employees. The problem may lie in where you are looking! In recent travels I have met rockstar employees that all have one thing in common: they were recruited from outside of healthcare.

Here’s an example of a great hire: meet Jackie, the patient counselor for Cleveland Eye Clinic’s ClearChoice Laser Center. She was recruited out of ClubCorp as a top-rated membership director and has been working with Jeff Augustine, Bill Wiley, and Shamik Bafna for the past 10 years.

In this brief conversation, I ask Jackie to share her experienced perspective on what’s helped her be successful in her role.
